About

This site deals with technicalities of web development and content management systems. I also try to touch upon content strategy, ECM, DMS, and other related fields.

I try to publish something new every two weeks alternating between topics.

My opinion on Google+

I'm not sold on Google+, and here's why; whilst it's great to be able to follow celebrities and subject-matter experts, they tend to drown out less vocal people. They harm the signal to noise ratio to the point where I want to remove them from a circle and stop following them. If it calms down (and I'm sure it will) then it will be much better, but at the moment some folk are addicted to the new toy and are machine-gun posting.

That said, it's refreshing coming from Twitter and being able to put all of this in one post. I'm staying firmly on the fence for the time being, but as I use gmail I can't see how I can stay away from G+ anyway... it's here to stay, and stay it will.
